Who
We Are..
To work towards the provision
of healthy and affordable housing, where health is supported through the use
of least toxic building and maintenance areas and where the surrounding area
must also be relatively pollution free.
Our
Specific Activities Include...
- Provision of education about
healthy housing. We produce materials and are available for workshops and
presentations at conferences throughout New Mexico.
- Creation of specifications
for healthy housing in the southwest. We work as consultants architects and
builders who specialize in safe housing construction, revovation and modifiction.
- Creation and maintenance of
a information and referral system regarding available safe housing in NM.
We can sometimes check out housing on the market for prospective buyers.
- Facilitation of the creation
of healthy housing, either directly or through working with individuals, agencies,
or groups.
- Housing to meet the needs of
persons with multiple chemical sensitivities (MCS) are a priority.
- Fundraising to support the
above activities.
